Juliana recently graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Biology and an emphasis in Zoology. She previously contributed to research involving jumping spiders in the genus Habronattus, assisting with specimen photography and the digitization of collection records. She currently contributes to research examining foraging behavior and prey selection in octopuses. Her interests include animal behavior, evolution, conservation biology, and wildlife rehabilitation, with hopes of pursuing work that contributes to the conservation of both marine and terrestrial wildlife.
