About

The Octopus Behavioral Ecology Group (OBEG) investigates how octopuses interact with their environments, prey, predators, and changing coastal ecosystems. Through field observations, experimental studies, and ecological monitoring, our group examines octopus behavior, trophic relationships, habitat use, and broader roles within marine communities. Our goal is to advance scientific understanding of these adaptable predators while supporting the conservation and management of the coastal habitats they occupy.
